Education: BM in Composition, minor in clarinet performance, CSU East Bay. Clarinet studies with William Wohlmacher and Diane Maltester, composition studies with Rafael Hernandez and Frank Larocca. He has played in CSUEB ensembles led by Dave Eshelman, Tim Smith, Johannes Wahlman, Wesley Broadnax and Buddy James.

Has been teaching for 16 years privately and also teaches Hayward Unified School District as a K-12  instrumental music and vocal music prep teacher where he has performed in Carnegie Hall, Davies Symphony Hall, and Yoshi’s Oakland. Ronnie has performed and been featured with various music ensembles, including the Living Space, and has played with the Fremont Starstruck Theater performances in the Bay Area. He is an accomplished composer, singer/songwriter, musician, music promoter, sound engineer, and teacher. He was a nominee in the 2012 Comcast All Star Teacher contest.
